“You are stronger than you think. You have gotten through every bad day in your life, and you are undefeated."
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, supportive, and emotionally focused, providing a supportive and encouraging environment for clients to work through their challenges and achieve their goals. Using techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused (EFT) theories, I strive to assist clients in recognizing their strengths and potential, understanding and regulating their emotional experiences, and developing important life skills.
I am under the supervision of Kami Ayres, MSW, LCSW
Background
I graduated from Lewis University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work, and I am completing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of Wisconsin Superior. Over the last 10 years, I have worked with children and adults with special needs in case management positions, as well as in a first responder setting as a 911 dispatcher.
Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, working out, playing or watching sports, and spending time with my family and friends.
