Tanya Danielson

BSW, PC-IT

Professional Counselor Intern
Area of focus: kids (7+), adolescents (13-17), adults (18+), and couples

My goal as a professional is to create a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship by
providing a comforting, compassionate, and supportive environment that encourages
clients to work through their challenges and achieve their goals. My therapeutic
approach is client centered and emotionally focused, assisting clients in recognizing
their strengths and potential, understanding and regulating their emotions, and
developing important life skills.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Social Work from Lewis
University in 2015 and am completing my Master’s Degree program through the
University of Wisconsin Superior, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Over the last 10 years, I have worked with children and adults with special needs in
case management positions, as well as in a first responder setting as a 911 dispatcher.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside, playing sports, and spending time with
family and friends.

I am under the supervision of Kami Ayres, MSW, LCSW.
